Katja is a young illegal immigrant from Russia. She works as a home worker for a married couple and their young son. When the couple go on a trip, Katja has to take full responsibility for the household and the child's care. One night, however, the child suffers an accident. Katja fears deportation if she takes him to the hospital so she decides to help the child on her own.
