Sophie is a young ambitious woman who wants to become a real writer. She has one last chance to write a bestseller or she'll be out of a job. As she begins to write she becomes too focused on her book and her real life is pulled out from under her feet. She tries to find out what is going on, but she's not able to distinguish what is real and what is her imagination. This is a film about writers and all types of artists whose art becomes their life.
