Robert's Story: Dying With Dignity follows the story of Robert Schwartz, a man living with advanced HIV disease who is ready to end his life. Robert was one of the first U.S. patients to pursue legal, doctor assisted suicide. For over two years, the film chronicles interactions with his family, lover, doctors and caregivers. What emerges is a moving portrait of the political and moral debate over the right to die with dignity.
