While a wealthy man, Patrick, mourns the loss of his murdered wife a few friends throw a party to bring him out of isolation. Meanwhile, a few unwanted guests make advances to break into a locked secret in the basement. Patrick meets a young girl who he finds an unlikely connection with and shares his thoughts and feelings of his lost wife. Just as the darkness in Patrick's life begins to fade the true identify and agenda of the girl is revealed which puts Patrick, and burglars all in jeopardy.
