In the year 2009, a sailing frigate Hope, a guest of honor in world's greatest cities, was traveling across the world. She moored to the pier of Plastun, a bleak town on the Eastern coast of Russia, whose only purpose was to supply the local wood plant with inexpensive workforce. It was just a technical pit stop for Hope. Inhabitants of Plastun greeted her in the most lavish way, offering dances, folk and pop songs and an excursion to the plant. Pictures preserved politeness and boredom on the faces of the officers and crew of Hope. But it was the best the town had to offer. This is how the romance between Hope, a beautiful ship, and Plastun, a poor town, has begun.
