Sylvia is a young woman who returns to the house she once lived in as a child. As she enters the old and depressing house she is surprisingly greeted by her new 'maid' Abigail. As they get to know each other we learn that Sylvia's father died tragically when she was nine and that she despises her life. Abigail reassures her and tries to help her in a comforting way. As Sylvia rests one night she is attacked by an unseen presence, and she tries to convince Abigail that the house is haunted. Abigail tries to tell her is is all in her head and its just an old house, but Sylvia remains suspicious. All is revealed when Sylvia discovers some mysterious letters in a strange room.
