Heart Beats follows the journey of a young couple, Nick and Kate, after finding out that Kate is pregnant. Nick and Kate must decide what to do about the pregnancy as they are both still in college with bright futures ahead of them. Their families both have expectations and different outlooks on life that ultimately influence the couples path.
