After returning from a long business trip abroad, David and his girlfriend Anne travel to the danish tideland. Anne thus hopes to reunite with David and conceive a long-awaited child. But David invited his best friend Tom, who witnesses the tension between the two. David then admits to Anne having had an affair. Albeit her disappointment Anne tries to go on with the relationship. David didn't tell her the whole truth, so there's more at stake. In the end, everything depends on Anne's decision in a crucial moment.
