Abdoulaye is an ethnographic film showing the making process of an instrument based on the experience of Abdoulaye Samb, from Senegal. The film was shot from 26th February to 17th March 2012, in North East London. It touches on musical and social practices from Senegal. Abdoulaye is from Dakar, in Senegal. He moved to London in 2009 where he intended to pursue a new musical experience by forming his band Minn Diarabi, including Senegalese and European musicians.
