Nate Anderson awakes in a hot sweat. As he wipes his face, he soon realizes that the tiny beads on his face aren't sweat - it's blood and it's not his. There's a fear inside of him that he cannot place or recognize, but it begins to take physicality in the form of blood. Nate soon confronts his fear when a racist cop sets his target on him. Feeling it's his duty to stop suspicious characters before they commit crimes, Sgt. Tanner, keeps his eye on Nate, whom he deems a threat to the community. The film reaches a heart-stopping climax when Nate and Sgt. Tanner have a final confrontation. Seen through the eyes of everyone closest to Nate, his community is called to take Tanner to task, but only one is willing to do so.
