John Summers was a regular guy, working in an office, and living with his wife and daughter. When a deadly virus hits the United States, John is forced to kill his infected family and flee. Civilian follows the dramatic deterioration of John's life as he comes in contact with a vicious hostile out to steal what remains of John's supplies.
