Down and Out is a short film that takes place in an industrial city that has a struggling economy. The film follows a two day period of the life of James; a steel worker that has been laid off from his duties. Down and Out follows James' struggle with the temptation to leave a honest but poor life for one that is criminal yet prosperous.
