The Abyss

Maria, a young mother, lives with her son and a much older husband. She is stuck in a destructive and dependent relationship with this man, who has somewhere along the road gotten a hold of her and he is keeping her in a firm grip. She lives in a world of terror and abuse, and in fear that her young son will be hurt in some way, she tries to keep it all together, until one day, when her son makes a fatal decision....
