A documentary about the playwrights who wrote for the theatre and for rallies in support of the women's suffrage movement a century ago. Their work has been largely forgotten and consigned to the archives, but the work of a few passionate researchers aims to bring it back to life and into the public domain. Through the dramatization of one of these plays and interviews with researchers and practitioners, this film asks whether the playwrights' work is still valid today and why it should be remembered and performed.
