The Dust of Summer

Christian, a counter worker at a 24-hour donut shop, tends to his customers, the night creatures and riffraff of Los Angeles' late night work force. Tonight, something inside him breaks. Exhausted, he gets off shift at daybreak and crosses the LA River. A vision overtakes him on his bus ride home. The film is a fictional and choreographic interpretation of Pharoah Sanders' 1971 jazz instrumental, 'Let Us Go Into the House of the Lord.'
