1863. Rhineland, German-French Border. The afternoon passes on a farm. Some are working and others are resting. Everyone takes care of his own. Also the Wolf is among the people, looking for the Little Goat. Both characters perform an ancient tale of the cultural tradition, until the Wolf steps out of the story. Then he turns into a social danger for the community and must disappear.
