It's always been said your life flashes before your eyes when you die. Every meaningful moment in your life is played back as you recount the things that meant the most to you. The film follows a Film editor sitting in his projection booth splices bit's of films together into a 'master roll'. He narrates as it becomes apparent that the clips are someones meaningful experiences and the reel is an accumulation of these special memories. The film is the Directors exploration of those questions by comparing them to film processing and equipment. A cameras essence is it's ability to capture moments in time to be played back in the future, much like the act of memory.
