Ensom translates from Danish as 'lonely'. The film centers around 7 female dancers, each of whom are portraying a woman of this time, telling her story. This is a film about; loneliness, love, struggle, friendship, power, compassion, loyalty and the strong bond between women. We believe that the subject of this film is important, and that the voices of women should be heard. This is a very visually driven piece in which the story is told through the bodies' of the dancers and the abstraction of the imagery. We hope to enrich and challenge the ways in which the audience, view dance. Run time is approximately 7.5 minutes. Although certain aspects of this film covers dark subject matter, we believe it is equally uplifting and inspiring.
