Give into the Night is a film about grief, isolation, companionship and the immigrant experience in America. The story begins when the recently widowed Anand moves to the US from India to live with his daughter and granddaughter, who is suffering from a recent illness. Separated by time and distance, the family's relationship has become cold and desolate as the wintry New England environment they inhabit. At the end of a long night, the characters slowly begin to discover what it means to be a family again by coming to terms with their shared grief and isolation.
