In a post-apocalyptic world, a man and his family struggle to survive and fend off an ever-growing population of 'Beings'. Even though his resistance efforts are futile, he is blinded by his commitment to his human-ness. But when a member of his family is converted, he must face a great question; what does it mean to be human? Is it merely our biology, or something greater and more intangible?
