Set during the events leading up to Winston Churchill's election focusing on the part played by the press baron Lord Beaverbrook in securing him the role of Prime Minister at the expense of Lord Halifax following Neville Chamberlain's resignation during the 1940 War Cabinet Crisis. Featuring costumes from 33-time Oscar-winning Angels Costumiers and designs from Jen Johnson, a 1937 Rolls Royce, state-of-the-art silicone-based prosthetics by Mike Dargan (The Dark Knight, James Bond) and makeup by 3-time Vogue UK contributor Pamela Clare.
