Illumenate

This film showcases the stories of three lighting designers ranging from professionals, to an up and coming student currently learning the art of illumination. David Deveau, Sam Houston State University Department of Dance, discusses how lighting enhances the emotional qualities of dance. Carrie Barton, SHSU School of Music, reveals the design process for theatrical and musical performances. Mercedes McCleary, SHSU theater student, shares her student design experience with theater and opera.
