Lindsay, an aspiring fine artist, struggles to deal with the reality of rejection and failure as his obsession to paint a masterpiece portrait of his house-mate and model, River, becomes increasingly damaging. Ultimately Lindsay has fallen deeply in love with River and when the truth slowly unravels about him, and who he really is, Lindsay is taken on a journey that could lead him down a disturbingly dark path.
