Eccentric Eclectic

The ECCENTRIC ECLECTIC documentary is about true creative freedom, experimental music and sound art. It follows the events of Electric Eclectics, a festival of experimental music and sound art in Ontario. If Burning Man and Woodstock had a provincial Canadian kid, this would be it. The film becomes a kaleidoscope of characters and musical vignettes infused with comedy and music. Nika Belianina's directorial debut captures the spirit, creation and enjoyment of art, be it a spontaneous collaboration or a carefully constructed audio performance. The film celebrates eccentricity and explores music beyond the mainstream, highlighting the 'new ways of the sound waves'.
