The Advisor details the meeting of office worker Daniel Brown with his 'Advisor' - an entity whose job it is to help Daniel understand whether his life is worth living or not. Their meeting takes place inside a representation of Daniel's mind, where he has regressed to after receiving a fatal head injury.
