Storm Surge follows the story of Superstorm Sandy and its effects on the people of the Jersey Shore. In 2012, the barrier islands of New Jersey were devastated by 'the perfect storm,' which divided the lives of its residents into a distinct 'before' and 'after.' Storm Surge tells the story from director Erica Pappas's first-person view, as well as through the words of nine other interviewees. The film is honest, dramatic, and touching, and features exclusive interviews and original footage of the area's devastation.
