The short film 'Coffee Cantata' is a musical comedy based on the Kaffeekantate by J. S. Bach. Baron Schlendrian tries to stop his daughter's addiction to coffee by offering her the promise of marriage to a prosperous banker. However, with their servants' aid, she succeeds not only in changing his opinion about coffee but also to marry her secret love, the coffee-making gardener.
