Set against the backdrop of a refugee camp in Lebanon, Rooftop Promises explores the lives of three Palestinian women struggling to reach their dreams against all odds. The film offers a series of intimate portraits that illustrate, through the eyes of women, the diversity and complexity of this community, caught between past and future, memories and hopes. The women's testimonies take us behind the bullet-ridden camp walls to reveal many other faces to this community: stories of love, faith, growth, community, resilience, and persistence.
