Mankind has suffered from a unspecified but severe, global disaster. Martin, a man who has been separated from his family, is hiding from the unknown perpetrators of this Apocalypse in the woods. On his journey through the purportedly safe forests Martin meets various other people who have experienced a similar fate, and eventually finds traces of his missing family.
