This is an experimental documentary, based on the idea of visual poetry and the clash of concepts. To achieve this, I combined the harshness of a series of voice testimonies in which inmates relate their stories of abuse in jail, with the softness, beauty, and sense of freedom evoked by an aerial silk performance. The main object of this short documentary is to raise awareness about the abuses that occur in American prisons. With no repercussion, sexual abuse is infringed to inmates by fellow prisoners and guards alike. This terrifying reality continues to evolve under our eyes.
