This is a lighthearted family drama following the story of Grandpa and his family. Old and grieving over the loss of his wife, he is forced to move in with his son's family. However, the transition does not go smoothly. He must share a room with his grandson Matt (15). Grandpa has trouble fitting in and it seems that everything he does inconveniences the family. Instead of accepting his situation, he sets his heart on a long forgotten dream of tight-rope walking. Ultimately, he realizes that he does indeed belong in his new adopted home, and begins to settle down.
