Imagine landing in China for the first time, having to learn Mandarin and perform beloved Chinese songs on stage at the most famous concert venue in China, before a live audience of thousands and a TV audience of millions, all in five weeks. That's the challenge faced by a group of young western opera singers. 'I SING BEIJING' documents their journey of West meets East, led by renowned opera singer, Hao Jiang Tian, who has sung all over the world, including 19 years at the Metropolitan Opera, in a film by double Academy Award winning filmmaker, Allan Miller.
