German and Fernando, two brothers that haven't spoken in about ten years, gather in the family house to celebrate their father's eightieth birthday. Back from living in Europe, Fernando notices that his father is somehow losing his judgment and the only thing that brings him back to reality is gathering his memories and failed projects. Filled with the past, the family house is like a shelter from time, and Fernando too will find among his memories a shelter from an uncertain future. On the other hand, German, the elder brother who has being taking care of his parents the whole time, is telling his mother she must sell the house to avoid bankruptcy.
