Hell has come to Earth. The dead are rising from their graves, and one news crew consisting of a cocky talk-show host named Johnny Wes, a kind hearted camera man named Fred Englund, and a cold and selfish news anchor named Nancy Thompson, have to survive in this world, where they live among the dead. We see what these people go through, and the people they meet in this hellish 'world'.
