A divorced man from Jewish descent, Larry, is trying to earn money, on the night of Christmas Eve, to buy his daughter a Teddy Bear she wants for Christmas. Larry goes out into the night trying to find a job to pay for the gift, and on his journey his act of kindness towards strangers ultimately lets him achieve his goal by sending his daughter the Teddy Bear.
