All of Us Home

All of Us Home, a short documentary about the problem of homelessness in Philadelphia, focuses on the Student Run Emergency Housing Unit of Philadelphia (SREHUP). The shelter is unique because it is entirely student-run, it only caters to its residents during the winter months, and it holds thirty men. The film captures the stories of four 2013 SREHUP residents: Jason Ford, Larry Wax, Frank Charmichael, and Steve Johnson, and various Villanova students. The film movingly presents the relationships that have formed between the students and the guests at SREHUP. The filmmakers hope their movie shines a light on an injustice in our society and will cause people to act so that all of us are home.
