Humans communicate in a variety of ways. Most people communicate through speech. Others communicate through actions, while many communicate through visual expression. Although most people can communicate by speech, many people believe creative outlets, such as painting or making music most effectively convey their thoughts and feelings. Artist Mark Hosford is a self proclaimed introvert, who embraces the idea of using art as a first language to work through difficult issues and open dialogue about controversial issues to promote change.
