Patty is a successful NYC executive in her professional life. She takes away a magazine from an intern but can't help herself from reading it. It says that stressed out men like over weight woman. She is self-deprecating & insecure when it comes to her looks she she comes up with a complex plan to manipulate her cute office crush Paul into liking her by stressing him out. Aurthor is dragged along for the ride as he is working on the same project as Paul. Aurthor then falls for Pattty instead.
