The film follows the story of a boy named Kevin. His mother died of a drug overdose when he was only 5 year old. After that his father becomes a heavy smoker. Kevin and his dad become very close to each other. Kevin has to go to a therapy group and talk to other kids who's family members have passed. But when Kevin's dad dies of lung cancer, Kevin feels like his life is turning into a big black hole.
