Deadline

Joshua Chan is a 17-year-old closet gay who is tasked to write a story for a school project. What kind of story will Joshua come up with now that he's pressured on living up to his family's expectations? This experimental short film is an examination of a closet gay's psyche filled with fear,pressure and self-loathing, expressed in the style of 'mise en abyme' or 'story within a story'. 'Deadline' was originally submitted as Igor's undergraduate thesis film.
