Dave, a humble Australian plumber, arrives in Hong Kong for the first time to see the love of his life, Michelle, and meet her conservative Chinese parents. When Dave arrives at Michelle's fancy Chinese home, he inadvertently manages to do everything wrong; unknowingly insulting Mr. and Mrs. Chan and their traditional Chinese customs. This is a 'meet the parents' style comedy, inspired by real-life events, with a cultural twist and a heart of gold.
