'Hanna Say Hi' follows 18-year-old Hanna during her last few days of high school. Hanna attends Downey High School, one of two high schools in a small suburb located about thirteen miles southeast of downtown Los Angeles. As the end of her high school career draws closer and closer, apprehensions over prom, procrastination, girlfriends, and insecurity arise. Although she is not a total outcast, she does not quite fit in or identify with almost any of her peers and is aching to leave Downey High School behind once and for all.
