Over The coals is the story of Santa Maria style BBQ, a little known and under appreciated form of cooking. The film interviews members of the community, and explores the history of the cuisine. The movie was shot in beautiful HD by director of photography Gregory Quatannens, and colored by Emmy winner Jeff Roe. Margaret Garrett from Mr. Airplaneman provides the soundtrack.
