Sasaki Sterling

Sasaki Sterling is a science fiction web series created in 2003 by Brandon McAllister. The series is presented as a 30 minute digital comic format with an audio track recorded by our esteemed cast. The series sees a meteorite crashing into the Chinese countryside in the late Fourteenth Century. A sword smith gathering ores, retrieves the meteorite, and crafts a set of sabers for Emperor Nova, the patriarch of the valley. The sabers begin to exhibit the elements of nature, and quickly destroying the valley, and rendering the Black Dragon Valley a mere footnote in history. Fast forward seven hundred years and the Sabers have been discovered in an archaeological dig. Upon handling one of the sabers, the remaining six ascend towards the sky and fly off into the horizon. The remaining saber reanimates Nova, and his closest confidants. Now the only thing standing between Nova and seizing absolute power, are seven people brought together by the sabers. Sasaki Sterling borrows ideas from several genres, mainly Science Fiction and Fantasy. The main themes of the series include the struggle of balancing life, work and relationships, with being a super hero, teamwork, and family, something the series is centralized on. Season 1 consisting of Thirteen episodes divided into The Three Part Pilot 'Alpha Day', the seven episode main season, and the three part season finale will debut in Spring of 2014.
