In HOE IK MEI EN JULI VOEL, director Anna Peeters tells the story of Frederica. Her father has eleven children, birthed into three different families. Frederica grew up in a big house - in which two of the families lived together with their father. When she was fifteen she made the hard decision to follow her mother and leave the house. This is something which they have never talked about. The way she is formed by the decisions her parents made is something she can't let go. Since it never felt like a good time to talk about it, she decides to take initiative.
