Not many people know that London is home to the first Mosque in Ontario and second in Canada. London has a rich history of the Muslim Canadian people, starting with their first community members in the 1900s, the building of the first Mosque in the late 1950s and earlier 1960s, and then the expansion of the community and its Islamic facilities in the decades that followed. This documentary briefly explores the history of this important Canadian landmark and also dives into a cultural snapshot of what identity and history means to Muslim Canadians.
