Oddball character Oscar, is buckling under the pressure of the daily grind and desperately trying to gather the courage to talk to local checkout chick Suzy. Having dragged himself through years of a crippling marriage the odds are against him. He finds the first sight of 'human connection' in an inanimate object that could potentially put the town in danger. When things take a turn for the better he is thrown another challenge and is forced to take a chance against the order and routine he has known for so long.
