Angel, a young teen aged girl, must make a difficult decision between sticking with her best friend -- a girl who dresses as a superhero and fights the schoolyard bullies -- or fitting in with the 'in' crowd at school. At the same time, she must also deal with her abusive older sister and her sister's alcoholic boyfriend.
