The Journey Back explores the life of Melody, a young woman who is forced in to sobriety by her well intentioned father. The impending physical misery is not what she fears the most. Her greatest fear of sobriety is the demons from her past that she has been silencing through years of drinking. The most heartbreaking are the memories of her alcoholic mother.
