When Gustaf after a controversy with his boss is fired from his high income position, he finds himself in a steep spiral of self destructive behavior. His increasingly feeble and misguided attempts to stick to the career path he has built ends constantly in self-humiliation. when his father passes during the same time period, he ends up in an almost apathetic state of mind. He is left with a huge amount of prescription pills from his doctor and a fumbling attempt for another life filled with love, music and purpose, all which leads him into increasingly absurd situations.
